Hello! My name is Whitney and I am the sole owner of Intuitive Healing Therapy! I have a masters degree in Social Work from the University of Michigan School of Social Work, and I have been a clinical therapist for 5 years. I am a psychotherapist that specializes in the treatment of psychological trauma. I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, have received special training in the treatment of disordered eating as it relates to trauma, and I am currently working on becoming a Certified Integrative Mental Health Professional to use nutrition as a complementary and alternative treatment for PTSD and C-PTSD. I bring personal experience in the arena of trauma healing to my clients. Sometimes it means the world to connect with a therapist that just "gets it". I am an eclectic therapist that uses various modalities to facilitate shadow work, help clients reconnect to their intuition, heal their nervous system, feel safe in their bodies, and cultivate love and compassion for themselves. As a millennial, mother of 3, healing perfectionist, and intuitive being, I know how difficult it can be to find a life worth living alongside all of the pain and tragedy in life. Whatever you are going through, whatever you've been through, I'm here for it, whatever that looks like. Some fun facts about me include that I am a cat lady, a Halloween queen, I love art, coffee, and my favorite colors are green and black. I am weird and awkward, and I have learned to embrace it, so let's be weird together!
